Crystalis by yumedust

This is a half-dragon warmage.

He was an RP character I played a while back. He was the type who would wade into combat, slashing with his claws and bludgeoning with his tail until he reached the center of his foes, and then he would unleash a magical maelstrom of elemental energy. He was a blast to play, unfortunately he met a grim end in a mountaintop labyrinth.

The description I had given to the artist:


Crystalis is a draconic warmage. Descended from a proud and noble lineage, his mastery of the arcane arts is matched only by his ferocity in battle.
He is tall and powerfully built. Nearly 7-ft tall and broad-shouldered, he strikes an imposing figure. He keeps his hair long and often unkempt, but tied loosely in the back. Atop his head starts a crown-like horn ridge consisting of 4 hornlets, with the largest spikes even with the outer line of his eyebrows, and receding into his hair as it approaches the back of his skull. His eyes are deep, and have slightly curved pupils, almost catlike. He has fine scales visible down the back of his neck and across his shoulders tapering down to his long muscular tail.
His hands are claw-like, but surprisingly dexterous. His nimble fingers are equally capable of manipulating delicate spell components or tearing the throat out of his enemy.
He prefers to engage in combat by wading into melee using his talons and his tail to clear a path to the center of his foes, before unleashing a potent nova of magical energy, leaving him in the center of an eldritch maelstrom.
Disdaining heavy armor, he wears only a simple breastplate; covering his chest and shoulders.
