Tao's inner bio I know who I am. I know what I am. No one can change that. I have witnessed first hand the terror in the eyes of those who have learned of my origins. The fear and hatred in the words and actions of people, who would even have been friends, had they not found what I am.Tao's inner bio
I am proud of my heritage. Only I know who I am. You can love me or hate me, but spare me your ignorance. I hold no value for your opinion until its worth has been proven. Watch your mouths, those who seek to label me. Lest the nightmare you believe me to be, becomes reality.

Midori Adventure Bright neon signs flashed by, as a lithe silhouette darted past at near breakneck speeds. Long bounding strides ate up the distance as the figure sprinted across the roof of a high-rise research building. Following closely behind, but losing ground, were two figures clad in bulky tactical armor. They were moving fast, but not fast enough. One paused to shoulder his weapon and as the whining power cells reached a crescendo it unleashed a plume of superheated plasma that sailed over the fleeing targets head. Midori didMidori Adventure

Got Beef Midori vs. Talbot 3 Midori drove her foot into Talbots face, her momentum augmented by the super suit. He swayed back under the impact as Midori catapulted into the air and turned a somersault landing behind him gracefully. Talbot kept his footing and whipped around with a savage side kick that Midori was only barely able to block. The kick connected solidly into her crossed forearms, staggering her under the impact. Midori skipped back a few short paces putting yet more distance between them. Talbot lunged forwGot Beef Midori vs. Talbot 3

Midori sat motionless behind a rusted shipping crate. She shook her head and whispered into her sub-dermal vox unit, You sure were after Talbot? she asked, Hes never been on our radar before. Tales of TaoIn her arms The crystal blue sky glittered in the spring afternoon. The bright sun beamed down between sparse clouds that skidded across the sky as though trying not to sully the idyllic panorama they were caught in. Beneath the vast azure heavens, a small stream meandered its way through a meadow; a silvered ribbon of water refracted the suns rays as it made its way through a vast bed of wildflowers and scattered trees. The Great Devourer Ulthiam gazed out over the still vista of the ruined imperial city. The sun had just crested this unfamiliar horizon and dawn broke to silence. No noise could be heard from the depths of the city. The Great Devourer
But Ulthiam knew better, as the shadows receded, he could see the shifting mass of chitin worming its way through the streets. The great devourer had landed and the ruins would soon be crawling with the foul creatures.
From within the scuttling morass, Ulthiam saw a great beast rise from earth.

Into the CatacombsInto the Catacombs
The catacomb reeked of decay. Pebbles crunched loudly underfoot in the eerie silence, Toreas armor creaking loudly with each step. Behind her, Morgoroth and the others tried to be as quiet as possible. She turned to look; Morgoroth was devoid of expression Typical she thought to herself, he probably likes it here. Shaking her head, she continued down the hall. A gleaming silver orb she held over her head gave off a warm glow, illuminating the passageway up ahead. At la

Some Time Alone Dark clouds sailed across the sky like messengers of grim purpose, the deepening twilight casting their linings in a blazing yellow-gold contrast to the thick black thunderheads. Ribbons of lightning chased from cloud to cloud, and the distant thunder barely carried to Asmiras ears. She stood next to a massive warhorse tethered to a crudely made hitching post, gently caressing its neck as it nuzzled grain from the palm of her hand. She smiled to herself as the great beasts lips tickled her palm. She ran her hand across the horseSome Time Alone

Devon Fargale

Solarin: Chapter 4 Devon approached the old forge; one of only two buildings built of stone in the village, it was a squat building that almost seemed to linger on the edge of town. Thick smoke billowed from the wide chimney and was scattered by the brisk autumn wind while the rhythmic beat of steel on steel set a steady cadence that Devon couldnt help but walk in time to. Above the door swung an old dark wooden sign on rusted hinges, in its center was a tarnished silver eight-pointed star emblem. He pushed the door open and entered inside. Solarin: Chapter 3 Torea and Devon walked down the main street of Hollowbrook. The only paved street in the village was well-tended and lined with the villages few shops and mercantile establishments that crowded close to the cobblestone path. Bright awnings fluttered lazily in the midday breeze as their booted feet echoed through the virtually deserted thoroughfare. Scattered people huddled under their cloaks against the cold as they darted from building to building. Torea held her thick woolen cloak against her breast to ward off the chill autumn wind. She marched forwaSolarin: Chapter 3

Meeting Breyadina Breyadina straddled a stout tree limb like a large cat absorbing the warm summer sun. She rested her head in the crook of her arm as she drifted in and out of sleep. Her legs dangled below her, while she idly watched a pair of squirrels chase each other across the slender branches of the tree opposite her. She smiled to herself at their antics, though it wasnt a smile of happiness. Rather, she was bored. She leaned back against the trunk of the tree and sighed. Looking up towards the muted glow of the canopy above, she pursed her lips and bleMeeting Breyadina

Cyberpunk Exchange IIMidori grumbled silently as she made her way through the security checkpoints and out into the street. She could still see the plume of smoke rising from the penthouse windows from the Thermoplas explosion. Private guards and municipal police milled about and arguments about jurisdiction floated through the air as the authorities gathered around the building like hyenas around a corpse. A day late and a dollar short. She groused to herself as she surrendered her purse to a stocky security guard whose thick jowls and sunken eyes made him look more like a bulldogCyberpunk Exchange II

Solarin: Chapter 2 Torea padded quietly across the wooden floor, her slippers shuffling silently beneath her as she made her way to the hearth. The early morning sun streamed in through the windows into the common room. The room was small but cozy and a fire burned low in the small flagstone fireplace giving the room gentle warmth. A pair of overstuffed chairs flanked the fireplace and a pair of plain wooden chairs was pushed against the far wall. She stepped around the small dining table that stood near to the pantry door, just opposite the doors to the bedchambers beyond where Tao still sleptSolarin: Chapter 2
